What do you think? Would this classify as framing? I'm thinking of sending it for my lesson 5 or I have one I'm working on of the house. I'll post it tomorrow. We had to go to Leon today, so I got up, went for my walk and then mowed my yard and we were on the road to Jerri Ann's by 11:00. We took the old Snapper to her and she fixed us lunch. We got back home around 6.

I love Peonies but every year the same thing happens.....They bloom,it rains,blooms sag to the ground and I cut them off....They do last a long time cut and the smell is wonderful so I still love Peonies.

Lilly in the pond have a couple more that should open any day. Had a hard time getting this shot,everytime I was ready to push the shutter button a fish would hit the stem and the flower would move.

Day 101
New pot and hanger. This is beside the back door into the garage. I took a couple roses out that wasn't doing so good. This looks cleaner and neater to me. Like it much better.

These are in the pots in front of the garage. I planted two of the orange colored New Guinea and one coleus. I'll probably regret this change in my color scheme during the hot months of July and August but I needed a change. I usually only use the cool colors. I have to admit, the bright, darker colors look better with my house and show up better from the road. Time will tell if I like this.

Day 100
Just outside the back door. The Thyme in the long pot has been planted for 4 or 5 years. Love it hanging over the sides and it is just starting to bloom. It has 2 or 3 tiny pink flowers now. I will take another shot when it has more on it. In the other pot is Oregano,Rosemary and Coconut Thyme. I've never had Coconut Thyme before but that is what was in the pot when bought it. Like my shoes.....They are great for outside work,just hose them off and let dry....LOL

Can you believe it? We've been doing this for 100 days! I've really enjoyed doing it and making myself use my camera for the simple things in our life. This is my newest design. I've always put the wire planters on the fireplace wall and used the pots and wagon but this year I added the chair and the ladder. I found the ladder in the old shed up in the rafters and decided to see if I could figure out a way to put pots on it. I'll send another picture when the plants start trailing down and filling it in. I have some wave petunias and some yellow stuff...can't remember the name right now but it trails in long, yellow streams. This whole corner will look much better once its started growing.

This is Weigela Minuet. It is really blooming right now. I have a couple of these and then some Wine and Roses, a Variegated one and some Midnight Wine. The Wine and Roses is a big shrub but the rest are small shrubs. The Variegated has light pink flowers on it and the Wine and Roses is dark burgundy leaves and dark pink flowers. Its just now starting to bloom and I'll get pictures of all of them.

Got this small herb bed cleaned out. I feel like I so far behind this year,but I'm almost done with cleaning and planting.

This is False Indigo. It is a lovely color when in bloom but not much once the blooms are gone. It has big beans on it later.

The first bloom of the season. All the rain in the past 3 days has got a lot of my flowers off to a great start. The foliage is beautiful on everything. Such a vast difference from last Spring after the late hard freeze.

Gavin went home tonight and I'm beat! He really wears me out but I love having him. His humor is really coming out now. He makes such funny jokes and says the funniest things. We went to see Indiana Jones last night and he's talked about nothing else since. He loves playing computer games but mom restricts him to 30 minutes a day now and granny has to enforce it too. Sometimes I let him go a bit longer...don't tell!

Well, this is my "little things". These have been in these little peat pots since the first of March and this is all they've grown. I don't believe they are going to bloom this year....LOL...plus, I'm not real sure what came up cause I planted three different plants and don't remember how I planted them and half of them didn't come up..it will be a surprise!

I finally found the Salmon colored Begonias. I need to remember next year to by pass Barnes Greenhouse and go directly to the Amish at Jamesport. They had a lot better selection, nicer looking plants and better prices. I could kick myself for not going there last week! I'm developing my raw images with procolor and when I convert them to jpg for the web, it washes them out and makes them dark. I can't figure out how to keep the color bright.

It is going to take me forever to get caught up. This is a shot from inside the car. Yes the windshield is a little dirty. I have always looked forward to seeing this neat spot in the road because it means the trip is almost over. I also thought it works good for the word narrow.

My little Miss Kim has been in the ground for over 10 years and this is the very first year its been covered with blooms. The smell is so awesome. I was weeding the perennial bed last night and the aroma was intoxicating! Now I wish I'd planted a lot more of them.

It's finally completely done! Finished putting the last plant in this afternoon. I planted Stella de Or, Border Blue Veronica and some light lavender wave petunias around the perimeter to hopefully drape down the sides. If I get some fall energy, I can see some tulips in this bed but I hate to plant bulbs...especially tulips bulbs cause I can't seem to get them to come back very good. I need to come up with some more perennials for it but this will do for now.

It's planting time again...love this time of year. I've got my baskets done on the front porch; just planted Geraniums this year. Since we cut the big tree down, the porch gets too much HOT afternoon sun. You will not believe this! I'm planting lots of reds and yellows this year! Why? I have no idea! I usually plant pinks and blues cause I like the cooler colors but this year, I'm more into dark, intense. Who would know!I'm trying the red Mandevilla AGAIN. I'm giving them one more chance to perform. I think I was over-watering them last year. Time will tell.

The last of the Gerbera's. They are still pretty but starting to lose some of their vibrate color. I've enjoyed them why they've lasted. Have got the new flower bed dug and the screening added to the hole. Will work the rock wall today and get it planted next week.

Just wanted to share some of my red Gerbera's that the grands sent me. I shot tons of pictures but had trouble getting the focus good on these. This is the best I got. I'm seriously thinking my camera has a focus issue. I'm going to take it to a camera shop and see what they think.

My beautiful Prairiefire crabapple tree. I so missed this color last Spring but its putting on a show for me this year. I have another crab by the front porch but its a light pink and I don't get as excited about its color as I do this one.

LOL. if anyone had been behind me on that gravel road they would have rear ended me. I was cruising along and spied this glove in the trees and immediately slammed on the brakes and backed up! I'm sure the wind blew it there but its definitely Out of Place.
