This is the only way I have done a vignette. Don't really use them much.Select photo....Contract around 35.......Feather around 20......Inverse selection.....New layer above photo........Fill selection with black.......Select photo again.......On Vignette layer hit delete.......Lower opacity.
Another way I can't help you but I'm sure you will find something if you do a search.
got it..thank you. I was thinking about darkening the edges of the solitude photo. I'll give it a try later today....got to go to the grocery store and finish up my outdoor decorations. Almost done, just need to finish by the back door and fill my window boxes.
