Isn't this little bird adorable....Nita made the template and I filled it. I didn't have a lot of color samples, so just played around with what I had. It was fun to learn the process of filling a shape.

I just love this bunny and the eggs. I've had the eggs for a long time and I always wanted more but I never did get any.
I could not get Bill to fix my hair. And a photographer, he is not! Just a fun layout to make myself laugh! All stuff from Shabby Princess.
This is an old page that I hadn't finished becasue it just wasn't working. I did a copycat of a free page from fei-fei's stuff blog. The hanger is from SP. and the ink splatter from DDE. The spray splatter is a brush from (?).
Is she adorable or what? She had a really dirty face so I had to spend a ton of time cleaning it. Trust me, it would have been SO much easier if I'd just had a wash rag with me before I took the picture. LOL..this is a friend of ours granddaughter and the little girl in the middle photo is theirs too. The little boy in the hat is Tracer. The guys were burning the crp ground and we went out there to watch. I was hoping to get some good photos of the fire, but they didn't turn out too good. Course, it didn't help that I was injuried and couldn't walk without the crutches. Makes it really hard to go on photo shoots. Everything is from Scrappers Guide. I still haven't got the selection tool mastered yet. I couldn't figure it out with the slides and ended up just using the eraser tool again.
Can you tell what my favorite seasons are? I have tons of fall and spring pictures. This was a quick page by Scrappers Guide and it was a lesson in adding the photos. Much harder than I thought it would be! I've always just used the eraser but this way used the marquee selection tool. I learned how to add and subtract from the selection.
Just another practice layout working with brushes and type. This image was taken last Spring and I'm anxious to see it in bloom again this year. Snow coming tomorrow...how much, its hard to say but KC is calling for 4 to 8 inches in their area. We aren't suppose to get that much but it's going to kill the blooms on the Forsythias and Magnolia's. Sad...so sad.
I snapped this one today when I went out front to watch for Zach. It had been raining and no sun but it's not to bad. Wish I had gotten down a little lower but my knees just doesn't do that.

I won this cute bunny at the sorority meeting last week. We always have a sunshine gift (door prize) and my name was pulled out. Love it. The meeting was at Patricia's house and she made the best Buffalo Chicken Dip. So it was a good evening. Thanks Pat.
Have to keep my hands busy so I won't eat.
I forgot about this shot of Zach that I took last year while we were at Canaan Valley. Found it the other day on my laptop when I was showing Brent's Mom some pictures of the Grands. It didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted, I was trying for more of a silhouette but this will do. Used an overlay and mailing label frame from Scrap Orchard. I sure need to print some of these layouts that I have posted here.
This is a horrible picture but wanted you to see why I wanted to upgrade to the a700 camera. This was taken in an almost completely dark room. I shoot in raw and was able to save most all of these pictures by adjusting the exposure and white balance and then running them through neat image. I realize they are extremely soft but if not for my 6400 ISO, I don't think I would have gotten any shots of inside the comedy club that night. My a100 only goes to 1600 ISO and that would not have been enough to hand hold the camera. Even at 6400, I had to steady myself on the table. My future SIL took this photo and she is better at holding steady then I am. Maybe because she is 6 years younger...LOL... I just wanted to show you the main reason I wanted to upgrade and the difference it makes. I love this new camera, now to learn how to use it properly.
