At the market they called this an Apple Dumpling Gourd. I haven't made up my mind if I'm going to cook and eat or just look at it.

Another image I got last weekend. Between the heavy lens and the slight breeze, it was impossible to get good sharp images.
I'm going to take a guess and say this is some kind of mushroom. It completely covers this tree and I liked the color contrast between it and the green behind. This is one time I really wished I had my tripod with me cause my big lens is so hard to hold steady.
I might have made this one way too small but at least I got the frame around it and still had room to put my title.
I took Bill to work on Sat. morning so I could have the pickup. Captured this early morning sunrise.
I took this shot last week and you are right they are hard. Can't get what my eyes see. Wish I had moved back a little.
I will get this...someday....somehow......eventually. I love the Sun Rays and try as I might, I have a heck of a time capturing them on paper. They were much brighter than this but at least I can see them. I'll keep trying!

The Asters have started blooming this week. I think they are really pretty but they don't seem to last very long. As you can see, I still have some coneflower too. I'm sure glad its Friday..its been a long, long week.
I love the smell of this clematis. I have three of these trellis on this wall with the Sweet Autumn in the middle and Jack Mani on the other two. But, the Sweet Autumn is choking the other two out. It grows all over the place and I cut it down to the ground every fall. I'm going to grow lots of this on the privacy fence.
I put a stroke around this one but still can't do the shadow. This is one of my Knock Out Roses just getting ready to bloom out. I like them when they are in this stage.
I finally had a chance this morning to get some shots of a few of the flowers still left blooming. The Mandevilla has bloomed non stop this year. I guess it likes all the rain. I can't figure my CS4 out...can't get the shadows to warp like in CS2. So...you can't tell I put any border around this image. If you figure it out, let me know.

One of my newest coneflowers. I planted it in front of the Peegee Hydrangea and like the contrast in shape. I should have used the tripod but was too lazy to go back in the house...LOL..
