Jack just hanging out in my tree in the front yard.
Used several textures on the image.
Most everything by Sue Cummings except for the grid.

Decorated a little different this year in spots. I really like this look.
Here they are....I didn't get a very good image and I've already dropped them all off at Jerri Ann's. They did turn out cute through. The bluish ribbon is really purple but it looks blue in this photo. The graphics are by Daisy CO. and the kit was made by Sandy Osborn. I really like these little boxes but which they had fit the candy bars better. I miss that about Lucille's templates. If she said the box was to fit 8 mini bars, they would have fit in it perfectly. The bars have lots of extra room in this box. Maybe if I'd used just the snack size bars, it would have been a better fit but I didn't have any.

Can you believe it? The first time we have seen the sun in almost a week and I'm stuck in the house working on Halloween stuff for Gavin's classmates! It was a perfect fall day...60 degrees, calm wind and full sunshine. Our foliage was starting to get absolutely stunning on Tuesday and then we got 3 inches of rain on Wed. and Thurs. Took care of most of those colorful leaves! Bill bagged leaves for about 2 hours and I worked on boxes. On Sat. night we went to a Halloween party. We had lots of fun and stayed out way too late. It was 1:30 when we got to bed and my internal clock went off at 6:30...ugh...
This is the last of the Knock Out roses. If I remember, I'll post a color version of it tonight. Got to get out the door now. It's a gloomy, rainy day...ugh.

I haven't worked up a scrapbook page for so long that I about forgot how. This is a shot that I took a couple of weeks ago at Zach's flag football game. Doesn't he look like he is having fun?
Went to a park for a walk today and had to snap this. I didn't do anything to this image except crop to fit my frame. The way the sun was filtering through the trees made it look like a spot light was shinning on the leaf.
Just another view of the Lexington courthouse. I'm trying to do the B/W adjustment myself but I'm not really liking the look yet. It seems to be missing the mark but I can't figure out where or what.
I shot this a few weeks ago...I pass this old house every morning on my way to work and keep thinking I will capture it with the light shining through it but I'm too afraid to climb over the fence and capture it with the sun to my back. There are cows in this pasture and I'm a little leery about a bull being with them. I don't run too fast anymore....LOL.. Anyway, wondering what you think of this and if you think it would work for my B/W assignment.
I think this is my favorite image out of those I got at the festival. I love the bright colors. There was a mother and her daughter spinning these beauties and I got one image of the girl but can't post it cause I didn't get her permission.
Another image from my trip to Lexington. I picked up one of these white pumpkins and its outside with my mums. I'll try and get a photo of it this weekend. It's raining today!
I have been trying to get this image for the last 3 or 4 evenings and this is the best I can get. A couple of nights it was to cloudy for me to even see the moon let alone get a shot. I would have liked it to have been bigger and golden but by the time it gets high enough for me to see above the hill that it comes up behind this is all I can get. Maybe I should drive someplace and get a better shot. Would that be called chasing the moon?
The Civil War was fought in Lexington, Missouri in 1861. One cannon ball hit the court house and is still embedded in the pillar. This court house is the oldest building still being used west of the Mississippi River. It was in beautiful shape when I saw it. I'd like to have been able to go inside but it wasn't open the day we were there. This is a beautiful city with some awesome old homes in it. Some day, I'm going back just to take photos.
It was so cool, windy and cloudy this day. Jack was down with the flu so I didn't have him there to give me instructions. I didn't take as many images as I wanted to but got a few. This one I had to adjust in Camera Raw to bring out the blue sky. I'll post a few more this week but have to get to work now. I was SO tired, I went to bed at 7:30 last night and never stirred till 5:30 this morning.
This has been a lazy Sunday morning. Just trying something different. These are all shots from the road side market. I'll be looking for ideas to shoot for a November mosaic.
