Day 197
Just a shot of the Liriope out front. I used the kit Cozy Comfy Fall from Digital Design Essentials because it's starting to have that look outside. I love fall but hate to see summer end.

The hang tag : Digital Design Essentials Round Label : Shabby Princess Glitter : O Scraps
Spiral clip I don't have any idea it was in a folder of odds and ends and I've had it since I started scraping and I didn't know how to organize.

Day 194
We finally got the bad weather from Florida up here. It rained all day yesterday and it's still misty today but we need the rain so bad. I went out back and took a few shots of the rain drops on the fig tree. I don't know why I have so much trouble holding the camera still with the 100mm lens on. It's not that heavy but I sway around all over the place and it's to much of a pain to get the tripod out for just a few shots. This shot was the best of the bunch.
Everything in the layout is from Shabby Princess Carousel Kit.
Go back and check my comments for the last couple of days I added to them.

Day 192
You know what you're doing, right? Making me use some of these kits that have taken up a huge proportion of my harddrive! And, that is a good thing, cause its finally forcing me to scrap a few of these pictures. I love this picture that Jerri Ann took. It shows the love of these too SO much and she positioned them just right. She really takes better photos than I do, I just take a whole lot more. LOL If you don't get bored with me, I may scrap a couple more. I'd like to get them done up in a book for him. This is a combination of kits. The star is from Kim Liddiard from her Elements of Texas kit. The papers, twine and ribbon are from Jamie Rousselle in her All Star Love kit. The word art is from a kit called A Guy Thing but there is no creator or website listed in any of the files. The inked edge is by Alicia Hansen of Cashewstyle.com
Mindy terasawa designed the hang tag from her Little Treasures kit and the file folder was from Digital Design Essentials Gina Cabrera. Whew! I think that is all. It takes me as long to look everything up as it does to put it on the page. LOL

Day 193
This is Zach's big Bass catch and his little Bluegill catch. They went on a camping trip a couple of weeks ago and I think he is starting to get into fishing.
I'm now up to date......Again.
The frame is from O Scraps and the rest Shabby Princess.

Day 192
This is a picture that I took in 2006 and have wanted to scrap it but just hadn't gotten to it.
This was after Zach's first and only violin concert.

Day 191
This wasn't my shot, its Jerri Ann's but I had to post it. This was Gavin's first fishing trip and he caught this 8.5 pound catfish right off the get go. Dad had to help him pull it in, it was pulling Gavin in the water. I'd love to have been there to observe his excitement and delight. He called me and was telling me about it and he stated: I'm sure glad we got a new pole, I don't think my Dinosaur rod would have held him!" I need to document that statement.
Oops, forgot to add the credits. All paper and stitching from Micheline Martin from her kit Sunday Morning. I love the colors in this kit, especially for my two little guys. I made the word art.

Day 191
We have a ton of these salad tomatoes and they are so good. I'm still behind on my posts but I'm working on it. Ribbon from Digital Design Essentials and swirl Rohnna Farrer.
Day 190
Here is my take...not as nice as yours but I'm still having trouble doing these templates. All papers and elements from Hello Sunshine by Studio Traci Reed and Studio Kristin. I'm a couple days behind now. This is my post for Sunday. How do I get caught up and then get behind...LOL
August 25, 2008
Day 189
I have a few forget-me-not still blooming so I played with the macro a little. I think I need new glasses. Everything but the swirl is from Digital Design Essentials and it's from ScrapArtists.
August 24, 2008
Day 189
Oh my...where do I start? I used some from lots of kits. Lets see...the picture is mine! Ok. that's a start. The paper, brackets and photo prong were designed by Gina Cabrera and the frame was by Melanie Willmann (melgendesign). The ribbon trim was by Kathryn Wilson from the Zen Garden kit, the buttons were from the Color me Happy kit by ScrapGirls and re-colored by me and the circles were by Shabby Princess. I, for the life of me, can not find the word art again. I know its in my folders but which one? If you know, let me know and I'll edit the post.
Have fun on your little trip..see ya when you get home.

Day 188
This is a layout of the Grands that I got worked up. Everything is from Studio Mindy at Scrapbookgraphics. I used the template from the Copycat Challenge at Oscraps.
We will be gone for a few days. Post when I get back with I hope a bunch of good shots.

Day 188 - IT'S FRIDAY!
All elements and paper from the Sweet Posies kit by CottageArts. I need to look up what kind of wildflower this is. It's real small and grows close to the ground in a mass. I love the center of it!
August 21, 2008
Day 187
I wonder what I can make now? Maybe some hot pads. I can always use more of them. Can you tell I'm having trouble finding something to shoot?
Day 187
I've worked and worked on this layout and finally gave up. Just couldn't come up with anything I liked that worked with the photos. I took these while I was down at mom's. She has close to 50 hummingbirds at this time. She has three feeders and she fills them 3 times a day. You can't sit on the back deck very long and you are completely surrounded by them. They don't give a darn that a human is sitting there. They are such a joy to watch that I'm going to have to get me a feeder. I have a couple that eat from my flowers but nothing like mom has.
August 20, 2008
Day 186
I tried to save this pic of Jessi. They had all been jumping on the bright blue waterbed mattress when I snapped this shot. Didn't make for a wonderful background. I like the way it turned out.
Background from Taylormade at OScraps and the flower and swirl brush from Rhonna Farrer at 2 Peas.

Day 186
Just another view of the sunflowers along the road. The brush daisy is from Tonya Doughty and the tag is from Katie Pertiet and I can't find the charm artist. I'm going to have to start writing this information down as I use it cause when I go back to find them in my files, I have a heck of a time.
August 19, 2008
Day 185
This is a crochet hook case that I made while setting at the hospital. It is so darn cute and it's useful too. Some place nice to keep my hooks. Got the free pattern here: http://issuu.com/croco8/docs/crochet_hook_case
The paper strip, button and butterfly from Heather Ann Designs.

Day 185
This is Amanda jumping from the high dive. They have so much fun at the swimming pool and swimming less and less beside grandma. I can remember when Gavin and the girls wouldn't leave my side but they are growing up and testing their wings n0w. I kind of miss it but enjoy seeing them grow into their own independence. This was freebie paper from Shabby Princess. I'm not sure about the fun button. It has Lyndsay in the file name and I recolored it to match the pink. The stitches were another freebie and I'm afraid I don't have the name of who made them. I'm trying to keep the names intact and sorted in the folders with the webpage I got them from. I made the sticker but still can't get it to look like its peeling up. Maybe its because my background is so dark.
August 18, 2008
Day 184
I have been trying for weeks to get a shot of one of the big paddle wheel boats that stop in Marietta but no luck. Every time I go up they are gone. This is one big boat but it's not the Delta Queen. I will just keep trying.
Sun, stitching and dot paper from Designing With Digital....Color change and wave template by me.

Day 184
Guess what we had for supper, last night? LOL...home grown tomatoes and corn on the cob. Plus, hamburgers grilled on the grill. My hubby said it was 'fit for a king!' I had to grab the plate away from him so I could get a photo before he devoured it. LOL
August 17, 2008
Day 183
Just got this image today. I was trying to take a macro shot of the HUGE blooms on the PeeGee Hydrangea and this butterfly decided to lite on the bloom I was focused on. I tried to get another one but he wasn't hanging around long enough for me to reset the camera. I'm just glad he allowed me this one shot. All the papers and elements are from Cottage Arts.com. I tore the paper and that was an hour long ordeal. I sure wish I knew more about doing all this. LOL
And this means I am officially, completely caught up! I think I'll work on tomorrows layout tonight so I don't get behind right at the first of the week. You are so right...getting behind is the pits!
And this means I am officially, completely caught up! I think I'll work on tomorrows layout tonight so I don't get behind right at the first of the week. You are so right...getting behind is the pits!
Day 183
Was just playing around with the macro but I was to lazy to get the tripod out. I really hate to use that thing but I have trouble holding this lens still. The stitching is from Digital Design Essentials. The rest me.
Day 182
I did it! I'm officially caught up to today. This is Isabella going off the high dive for the first time. She did great and went right back up. Now we've got to get Jackson in swimming lessons so I can say all my grands can swim...Yippee! Next summer, we are going to spend the whole week at the pool...I might even have Jackson too if I can get him away from Greg and Kristen...LOL...I'm headed outdoors to mow and water. Will get todays post done this afternoon while I'm washing clothes. This kit is Emma's Dress by Michelle Coleman. Can you tell I like my layouts really colorful?
August 16, 2008
Day 181
Whew...this makes 6 layouts today...I'm too tired to think anymore and I'm going to bed...LOL
This is the sunflower field that I told you about...I sure wish it was closer to my home so I could have gone out early in the morning when the wind wasn't blowing and could take my time and use the tripod. It would have made a beautiful photo. This kit is by Traci Reed and its called Hello Sunshine. I thought it was an appropriate title for my photo of the Sunflowers.

Day 180
I got lazy on this one. I might still work up one of my own with this photo cause I really like it. Amanda gave me a great smile...nothing cheesy about this one. Isn't she beautiful? I can't believe she is growing this fast. This was a free kit from Rhonna Farrer on 2Peas. I wish my mind would think of these layouts but it only thinks of plain Jane ones.
Day 179
OK...this layout took me over 2 hours. I think the kit is completely by Micheline Martin called Sunday Morning. The little tags are by Gina Cabrera from her DayDreams kit and the frame is by LindaGB. Just 3 more to go and I'll be caught up till tomorrow...LOL
Day 182
I didn't take this picture. I can't wait to get the CD with all the pictures from the trip so I can do some layouts.
Day 178
Found another image I wanted to post so my flowers haven't got watered yet. I'm trying to make the sticker look more realistic but not having much luck. I'll try more later after I water.
Day 177
All four of my grands have used this little stool. It was passed down to me from my mother when I started having grandchildren and I plan on passing it to Jerri Ann when she starts having them. I've out the door to water flowers but then I plan on coming back and working up some more post. The bow and hangar are from Gina Cabrera's kit Hello Chickee.
Day 176
Took this yesterday in the rain. So, you can't expect perfection in the image. Not only was I getting wet, the wind was blowing and I had no tripod. I just loved how they looked when I was driving down the road.
August 15, 2008
Day 181
Another shot of some of my favorite things. I love this blue and whte stuff (not sure what else to call it). I would love to find a big lamp in it.
Day 175
Photo taken at the old Gables Supper Club. I think its on the slate for demolition this fall, so I wanted to get some photos of it before it became just an image in my mind. This lady is on the sign in front of the building. Frame is by Khristy Schmidt/DigiSchmidtDesigns. I had a hard time making it work right but like how it looks now with this lady.

Day 178
A miniature rose that Vic and the Grands got me for Mother's Day a long time ago. This bud is only about the size of my thumbnail. I was using the macro and I have a super hard time with the focus on it.
If my calculations are correct with this post I'm up to date. We started on Sunday Feb. 17 twenty five weeks ago. 25 x 7 = 175 plus 3 days for this week makes it Day 178.

Day 177
A cone flower without it's petals. The yellow finch love to eat these seeds so I don't cut the down until they have eaten all they want.
Day 176
I think this is Salvia but I could be wrong. I need to revamp all my flower beds and make it eaiser on the old knees. I just can't get down to weed them any more. Will I can get down I just
can't get back up. Getting old is no fun.
can't get back up. Getting old is no fun.
Day 170
Holiday grapes in mid August! They are so good...I love this time of year because of the food that is available in abundance.
August 11, 2008
Day 169
Wow...am I tired! I loved, loved, loved having him but keeping up was more than my body can handle. I had him from Sunday till late Sat. night and I did nothing on Sunday except sleep. I'll catch up, hopefully, by the end of the week. If I was a bit faster at laying these out, it would help, but I'm so slow. I worked on this for almost an hour and a half and its nothing great.
August 10, 2008
Day 174
I could eat these every day. I hate to see the garden come to an end. Clip is from Digital Design Essentials new Idea Book for August. With a color change by me.

Day 173
Zach trying his hand at winning a cake for us at he Ox Roast. We came home with two. They had
perfect weather for the roast this year.

Day 172
These are across the street behind a neighbors storage building.I saw them today as I came down the street. Grabbed the camera and snapped a few shots.
